Many driven and ambitious career women find themselves having made their way towards the top of the ladder only to find out that the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall.
Painful realization!
It’s not easy to realize you’ve made a mistake that has cost you years of your life, and it’s even harder to do a life reset and put your life back on track afterwards. Especially when you’re already overwhelmed and hanging on by a thread!
If this is your situation, read on: there’s good news!
Overwhelm: the life reset killer!
As dire as the situation appears to be, from my observation and in most cases, what stands in the way of these women turning the tide around and troubleshooting their lives is not their current circumstances but rather their mindsets and the levels of stress under which they generally operate (which only get heightened by realizing that their lives have been built on the wrong foundations!)
Who you believe yourself to be, what you believe you can accomplish, what you allow to stand in your way by not standing up for yourself, is way more detrimental to rebuilding your life than lacking connections or credentials could ever be.
Connections can be made, credentials can be obtained however without the right mindset and mental frame nothing can be accomplished.
Of course, the level of stress and overwhelm so many career women operate under by desperately trying to fit a to-do list the size of a phonebook (showing my age, I know) into a puny 24 hour day only makes things harder.
No one has the mental capacity to undertake such a challenging project as a life overhaul when they are drained, stressed-out and overwhelmed.
It’s a recipe for burnout and disaster.
21 days to a new life!
That’s why for me the journey to any big transformation such as a life reset always starts with reducing your level of stress and overwhelm, and regaining balance.
This provides you with more mental space to withstand the challenges inherent to those kind of ambitious projects.
Scientists have found that 21 days is the minimum period of time needed to begin forming a new habit.
– Want to feel more confident?
– Want to become an early riser?
– Want to reduce your stress and regain balance?
It takes 21 days to begin to radically transform your life.
21 days as the prelude to a life reset.
Since stress and overwhelm blur your thinking and hinder your capacity to handle disruptions, it stands to reason that a life reset should begin by reducing your stress… for say 21 days!
With just 21 days dedicated to regaining balance and mental space, unearthing big sabotaging mindsets, and establishing new empowering habits you will begin to think clearer and to reconnect with that tiny voice deep within you that can guide you back to your sweet spot, that place where everything in your life works to perfection.
Only then will you be able to reset your life for more meaning, purpose and joy without drowning from overwhelm and burning out in the process.
Up for a challenge?
Taking all this into consideration, I have created a 21 day challenge to help weary and overwhelmed career women like you reduce their stress before undertaking their big life reset.
This challenge walks you out of stressed-out-and-frazzled and guides you back to graceful-and-poised through a bite-sized tip and a quick action step to take each day. When you’re busy and overwhelmed things need to fit into your tight schedule!
If you’ve set your life against the wrong foundations and you’ve come to terms with the fact that you need to make big changes, this challenge will set the stage for you to be able to reset your life without overwhelm.
