Struggling with sunday scaries? Post-vacation blues?
You’re not the only one!

The Summer break is ending. This means: time to head back to the real world.

And, for many professional women, this prospect lies somewhere between sticking needles under your nails and pocking your eye out on the excitement scale.

A massive pain!

The not-so-pleasant reality.

Only a few days ago life was sweet: sipping drinks by the ocean, enjoying the sunset, hiking—insert whatever you may have been doing here—.

And now it’s back to the golden hamster wheel: incessant messages, pointless meetings, constant over hours, nasty co-workers, bossy superiors, disrespectful clients, stress and overwhelm…

Yes, that life!

It’s no wonder that getting back to work hits you like a ton of bricks.

How do you deal with this? What is the cure for the post-vacation blues?

  • Ice-cream?
  • Shopping?
  • Making friends with the bartender at this fancy cocktail bar down the street?

(I’m jesting, but I constantly see those ideas offered as potential solutions…)

I have a better solution to suggest: how about fixing your life so it doesn’t hurt so much all the time?!

Consider this: if you were to hit your toe with a hammer, it would hurt insanely, wouldn’t it?
Would you do it repeatedly? Probably not!

So, why put yourself through the same drudgery year in-year-out?

Pain is an indication that something is off, and ignoring it is never healthy.

This post-holiday blues may be trying to tell you something…

That’s for you to find out.

The real cure to the post-vacation blues.

As I mentioned before, ‘take a shower’, ‘have sex’, ‘go to the movies’ is the type of advice handed out to cure the post vacation blues. Typical of our society which loves fixing symptoms instead of remedying causes.

Ice-cream is not the post-vacation blues cure, nor are shopping sprees or a trip to the spa. They may alleviate your blues for a bit and make the pain more bearable, however, they’re only a bandage, not a real post-vacation blues cure.

And just like your toe would eventually be in pretty bad shape if you kept hitting it with a hammer, so would you be if you keep ignoring the warning signs that something is terribly off with your life.

Some resources to cure your post-vacation blues… for good!

Do you want to go even further?

You were not born for a life of (comfortable) drudgery. It may seem like the responsible, practical and safe thing to do right now. However, this is not healthy.

There’s a whole, magnificent world waiting for you once you decide to get off the hamster wheel, leave your golden cell, and step into your true destiny.

Now, don’t think that I am trying to make this sound easier than it is, because I know from personal experience that reinventing your life is no small feat.

However, there are ways to make things a lot faster and easier, though!

I’ve reinvented my life many times, and I can assure you that it’s really worth the effort when you come out on the other side. Every day feels like a holiday.

Make lasting changes!

Wouldn’t it be great if this was the last time you struggled with post-vacation blues?

Then, take concrete action today to change your life for good!

You don’t have to have everything figured out; you simply need to make the decision and draw the line. It’s incredible how much unexpected support can begin flowing to you once you make the decision to stand up for yourself, for your health and for your well-being.

I know changing your life can feel very overwhelming and confusing, but it doesn’t need to be.

I have created these virtual workshops to empower you with strategies and the tools I have used in my own life reinventions, so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

Additionally, if you’re someone who prefers exclusive experiences and high-touch solutions, these bespoke reinvention solutions are for you.
