‘New year, new me’ season is upon and unfortunately for many people this will once again translate to ‘New year, same old’.
It’s not for a lack of desire or drive.
It’s often due to a lack of adequate planning and organization. Life gets in the way and soon enough all the resolutions and plans are forgotten.

Well, because, when you take an objective and just kind of place it within the I-will-accomplish-this-next-year, it’s kind of fuzzy.
There’s no structure to it and it’s so easy to get sidetracked and forget about it.
If you put an objective on a short-term time frame, it gets very quickly overwhelming.
And then you can also add it to your to-do and that’s just a list of things and you’re like “okay where do I start?” and basically, nothing gets done.
Three months – 90 days – is magical.
Because you get enough time to implement certain changes.
You get enough time to set new habits and see results and you get to see if you need to course-correct.
So afterward, just lather rinse repeat and over the course of the year, you have much more chance of having a successful year.
First, think about where you want to be 12 months from now.
Try to get into your soul, go within yourself and try to find goals that really really benefit you, not something that’s flashy and cool but something that really means something to you.
Then get a picture of what success looks like for you, even add some feelings to that.
List what you can do to prepare yourself to get there and then you chunk it down in four installments and you get to work.
